Our Sustainability commitments
Our Design and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) teams work together to find the best possible options.
We pay a lot of attention to the origin of our materials, we restrict the area of sourcing our materials to limit greenhouse gas emissions.
We look for recycled or organic materials certified by independent organizations (GRS, RCS, GOTS, OCS).
Our lingerie is certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, meaning it contains no harmful chemicals.
Finally, our products pass quality tests, evaluated by an international laboratory.
Even the most environmentally-friendly production processes require CO2 emissions. Scandale has therefore decided to offset its emissions.
How do we do this?
With our environmental partner BCome, we analyzed the impact of our production down to the smallest detail (from the energy consumed in our offices to the energy consumption of our customers' washing machines, transport, dyes, etc.).
ClimatePartner then calculated the amount of CO2 emitted during the production of our permanent collection.
And we offset these emissions by investing in renewable energy projects!
In 2024, with the help of our new Life Cycle Assessment partners Waro and ClimatePartner, we intend not only to offset our production, but also to add all the emissions linked to our activities. Stay tuned!
